These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of themarkitplace.com (the “Site”) and the products and services provided by The Mark-It Place (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
The Mark-It Place is a locally owned Camarillo shop offering custom trophies, awards, engraving, embroidery, screen printing, DTF printing, signs and banners, sublimation, promotional products, and personalized gifts. The Site is primarily informational and lets you request a quote or contact us; orders are arranged directly with us.
Requesting a quote does not create a binding order. An order is confirmed once we agree on the details and you approve it.
For custom work, we prepare a proof or layout (wording, spelling, placement, artwork) for your approval. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all proofs. Once you approve, production proceeds based on the approved proof, and we are not responsible for errors you approved (such as spelling, dates, or names).
Because engraving and many decoration methods are permanent, please confirm all details carefully before approving.
Prices are quoted per project and may change based on materials, quantity, artwork, and specifications. Quoted prices are valid for the period we state, or 30 days if not specified. Payment terms are arranged at the time of order.
Minimum orders: none, except on promotional items, which are produced in bulk.
Any turnaround times we provide (for example, trophies in 3–5 business days, embroidery in 7–10 days, screen printing about two weeks, and DTF printing 24 hours or less) are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on quantity, artwork readiness, and our current production schedule. Rush service may be available for an additional fee, starting at $25, depending on the job. Please tell us your deadline so we can confirm what’s workable.
By submitting artwork, logos, text, or designs, you represent and warrant that you own or have the right to use them and to authorize us to reproduce them on your order.
You agree to indemnify and hold The Mark-It Place harmless from any claim arising from artwork or content you provide, including trademark or copyright claims. We may prepare or clean up artwork for production; the underlying rights to your logos and designs remain yours.
All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, and images — is the property of The Mark-It Place or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Because our products are custom-made to your specifications, orders generally cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded once production has begun, except as required by law. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible; we will do our best to accommodate changes before production starts.
Satisfaction and quality guaranteed: if a finished item does not match the approved proof or has a defect caused by us, we will correct or remake it. This guarantee does not cover errors in details you approved or changes of mind.
Orders can be picked up at 1390 Flynn Rd, Suite B, Camarillo, CA 93012. Shipping is available on request for a flat rate (currently $15); delivery times depend on the carrier. Risk of loss passes to you once we hand the order to the carrier.
Colors, materials, and finishes may vary slightly from what you see on a screen or a sample due to monitors, materials, and manufacturing. Minor variation is normal and is not considered a defect.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Mark-It Place is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Site or our products or services. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Mark-It Place and its owners and staff from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or the content you provide.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Ventura County, California.
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site or ordering after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
